CLARITY ON FINAL STUDENT DATES!
While we will be sending out an email with more district updates at the end of the week, we wanted to get out the shift in our end of the school year date right away.
Up until just recently, we thought that we were looking at ending either on June 12th or 16th. Well, the situation has changed. In the last few days, we have received notification of state waivers for the following missed school days:
1. March 16 & 17--With COVID cases in Greater Springfield, we closed two days before the Governor closed all Vermont schools on March 18th. Those days are waived.
2. Our three snow days--The student days are waived in this case in exchange for staff only days for planning and training in anticipation of next fall.
As a result, our end of the year dates have shifted. Here is our schedule:
