New COVID Case at Elm Hill

Good afternoon Springfield School District students, families, and staff,

This is Zach McLaughlin, the Superintendent of Schools. I apologize for interrupting your Sunday, but I wanted to give you an update on the district’s COVID-19 status. Yesterday, our team became aware of a new positive COVID case within the Elm Hill school community. That case led to 10 close contacts who will need to quarantine. It will not close an additional classroom at Elm Hill, and we anticipate that all district schools will be open for business tomorrow.

As a reminder, if students or staff are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, they should not come to school.

Thank you for your attention and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
